Hawaii Host Info form for each yacht entered
One of the most unique, and wonderful aspects of Transpac has always been the extremely generous and heartfelt Aloha welcome which is given to each and every boat when they arrive in Honolulu. It does not matter if you finish the race at 2 in the morning or 2 the afternoon or anytime in between, the welcome is the same. It may be the middle of the night, or in the blazing sun of the afternoon, but your Honoluluhosts will have a festive Aloha for you and your crew and your friends and family.
So, what can you do? First please fill out the enclosed form with some basic crew information for your hosts. Second, and probably most importantly, learn the Hawaiian word Mahalo. That means Thank You, you have to use this word often to your hosts and everyone else there to greet you and make you feel the spirit of Aloha to the island of Oahu!
This what Transpac is all about, and the memories will last forever!
Mahalo.
