Murray Spece, holds a miniature of the Clock Trophy, which was presented to Neville Crichton's Alfa Romeo team for obliterating the Transpace Course Record that had stood since 2005.  They were invited to a special celebration to set back the faces of the towering and heavy clock trophy that is on permanent exhibit at the Newport Harbor Nautical Museum, the permanent home of the Transpacific Yacht Club.  Also in the photo is Trisha Steele who deeded the Merlin Trophy for the team with the shortest elapsed time in the Unlimited Class of grandprix boats.

Peter Tong and the crew of OEX accept the trophy for the third place boat overall on corrected time and the Clarence McFarland Memorial Trophy for being the first boat to finish on corrected time in Division II.  Sleds largely comprised Division II and Tong won the division with the very same Santa Cruz 70 that had the last Transpac clean sweep.  Tong restored the former Silver Bullet, the boat that beat his Orient Express in 1993.
